I am currently the stand alone Company Secretary and will be taking the role of General Counsel & Company Secretary from 1 January 2025, resulting in the need to seek support on the Company Secretarial side of the team.

Pod Point has been on a journey since its IPO in November 2021.  Being in a nascent industry, the company has to be dynamic and have the ability to change to meet the challenges it faces.  As a result, there is a lot of Board activity, which makes the job interesting and busy!

Having qualified at the Bar (many years ago!) and deciding that it wasn't for me, I wanted to work in a quasi-legal field and ended up requalifying as a Company Secretary.  I spent the first few years of my career in professional services before moving into the listed environment.  I took an eight year career break, during which time I set up and ran a property development company.  In 2012, having worked for Treatt plc for four years,  I became Group Legal Counsel & Company Secretary of Treatt, where I stayed for a further ten years before moving to Pod Point the beginning of 2023.
